Welcome To Birrificio Contromano
Birrificio Contromano is a craft beer company based in Rome
The term “contromano” is a figurative way to explain going on a road with your car or motorbike in the wrong direction, which happens regularly in Rome.
We produce various types of beer for every taste, including American IPA, European Pale Ale, Milk Stout, Lager and Belgian Strong Ale.
If you’re not Italian (or you’re not familiar with Roman slang) most of the beer names would sound strange to you. They are mostly joking word puns inspired by the ingredients, with the unique label art reflecting that.
